Red Bull Racing are trying to give
Max Verstappen the win with a different strategy, after the
Ferrari's proved too fast in the first half of the
Austrian Grand Prix. However, Verstappen is not always happy with the grip of his hard tyres, he said on the radio.
Verstappen is not entirely satisfied with the grip level of the hard tyres under his RB18. "One lap I have grip, the next I don't," the Dutchman complained on the on-board radio. "The car is so unpredictable, not normal."
Will Red Bull opt for aggressive three-stopper?
Meanwhile, both Verstappen and both Ferrari drivers have made a second stop. Leclerc has now passed his rival for the third time and
Carlos Sainz is also fast approaching. Whether this will be enough remains to be seen, as the championship leader has a large gap to
Lewis Hamilton in fourth place, and therefore has the space to make a third stop.
