Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene has been linked to a switch of sports, as the Italian is close to joining Italian football giant Juventus as a director according to several Italian sources.
Juventus' CEO Giuseppe Marotta is leaving the football club in October after eight very successful years, and the Turin-based team is looking at Arrivabene to follow him in his footsteps.
Arrivabene has been team principal at Ferrari for four years now, and has established himself as a big personality in the sport despite his lack of results, losing out to Mercedes in the title race year after year.
He's also known to be a passionate fan of football, though, as he's reportedly been a board member at Juventus since 2012. He's also good friends with the Agnelli family, the owners of not only Juventus but also Fiat, the company that owns Ferrari. Things are lined up for Arrivabene to leave to 'The Old Lady', but for now, we'll still see him in the Ferrari paddock at Japan this weekend.
