With all the setbacks at Ferrari, the future of Charles Leclerc in particular, is being questioned after the 2024 Formula 1 season. Does the Monegasque still want to stay with the Maranello-based racing team? According to Leo Turrini, an analyst for the Italian edition of Sky Sports, he does, and both Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have already signed contracts beyond 2024.

Will Leclerc and Sainz stay at Ferrari?

Both Leclerc and Sainz's contracts expire after the 2024 F1 season. The big question is whether the drivers intend to stay at the Italian Scuderia, as the team did not perform as hoped in 2023. However, Turrini states to Quotidiano Sportivo that the papers have already been signed.
"Soon the official announcement will come: Charles and Carlos will stay at Ferrari beyond 2024. Leclerc and Sainz will try to win the world championship in red," said the usually well-informed Italian journalist.
Ferrari may not have experienced their dream season in 2023, but the team has started an advance in recent race weekends. Having scored 16 more points than Mercedes at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the difference between the two teams in the constructors' championship is now just four points.
