Cadillac has joined forces with a popular ex-Mercedes sponsor. The fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger will once again join the Formula 1 family via the new American team. In their announcement, two former drivers made a surprise showing. Two experienced names fuel the rumours regarding Cadillac seats
On the instagram announcement Tommy Hilfiger said, "Two American icons. One vision. A bold new era for American motorsport. We’re proud to be the official apparel partner of @cadillacf1, competing at the pinnacle level of the sport bringing a legacy of dynamic innovation and vibrant design to the global Formula 1 stage. Racing into the 2026 season with style and speed. Get ready for fan wear collections, epic campaigns and front-row access."
Then in the comments, Cadillac said,
"Every detail matters ❤️🤍💙". When you dig a little deeper, you will see that
Valtteri Bottas and
Mick Schumacher both liked the post. The two are former F1 drivers. While Bottas is still active as a third driver for Mercedes, Schumacher is active for Alpine's WEC team.

If every detail matters, could this be a hint of who is driving for the team in 2026?
On the Beyond the Grid podcast, Bottas recently addressed the Cadillac rumours saying, "If I would be there as a driver, would be actually very interesting because you can start from scratch. The team starts from zero. And you could actually make a big influence on certain things, which direction to go."
