Mick Schumacher is due at Fiorano on Thursday and Friday for a test session with Ferrari, but Toto Wolff feels it is important that Mick is not in the limelight so much. The pressure should be off his shoulders.
Schumacher will make his debut in Formula 1 in 2021, following in his father's footsteps. Michael Schumacher is of course an important role model for Mick, but the young German should not be compared to him. Schumacher is in the spotlight a lot, but Toto Wolff hopes that things will change.

Schumacher to the top?

''The most important thing is that the pressure will be off his shoulders. He is doing very well at the moment and I know him to be a confident driver, but not too confident. He is someone who knows exactly what he can do and he also knows very well that he will need time,'' Wolff told German RTL.
Schumacher will start his career at Haas, but with his father and also the ties he has with Ferrari as part of their junior programme, one often looks at the possibilities in the future. ''He has the talent and intelligence to make it to the top, win races and even compete for championships,'' the Mercedes team boss said.
