Championship leader Kimi Antonelli is set to headline the FIA press conference ahead of the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix on Thursday. His team boss, Toto Wolff, will then feature on Friday. Immediately
after the Monaco Grand Prix, the
Formula 1 grid heads to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this weekend. As usual, a total of six drivers will be present at the FIA press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Spanish stars and Antonelli to headline Thursday press conferences
Home favourite
Fernando Alonso is set to headline the first group of three drivers. The former two-time Formula 1 world champion will be joined by
Oliver Bearman and
Liam Lawson. Their group will begin at 14:30 local time (13:30 GMT).
The current championship leader, Antonelli, is then set to feature in group two. Having won five Grands Prix in a row now, the young Italian is a returning guest in the press conference room to speak to the media. He will be joined by the second Spanish driver on the grid,
Carlos Sainz, and also Alpine's Franco Colapinto. Their group will begin at 15:00 local time (14:00 GMT).
Drivers need to arrive on time, as during the Monaco Grand Prix, the stewards handed out fines to Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris as well. They both received a suspended fine of €5,000.
Wolff headlines Friday press conference
Mercedes' Wolff will be among the three team representatives to talk to the medium on Friday afternoon at 15:30 local time (14:30 GMT). He will be joined by Haas
F1 team principal
Ayao Komatsu and Audi's
Mattia Binotto.
Then, the regular press conferences after qualifying and the race with the top three drivers will also take place on Saturday and Sunday as well.
