Williams stars say goodbye to 2025 with special images

While Alexander Albon shared photos from his winter holiday, his teammate Carlos Sainz decided to celebrate the end of the year by posting previously unseen images.

Albon and his girlfriend Lily Muni He are on holiday in Bhutan, enjoying this winter break.

On social media, the Thai-British driver wrote: "Ending our year in Bhutan, a country of untouched beauty and the kindest, most welcoming people. A reminder what really matters as we step into a new year."

Albon's partner also posted photos of their trip. She wrote on Instagram: "Kingdom of happiness, a trip to remember."

Meanwhile, Albon's teammate Sainz shared 12 previously unposted photos to celebrate the 12 months of the year. The best moments include the Spaniard celebrating his two Grand Prix podiums of the season.

Albon vouches for longer winter break

Speaking to GPblog in Abu Dhabi, Albon highlighted how little time drivers get to rest nowadays.

He explained: "It's brutal to be honest with you. I don't think it's enough. I think I have seven days off."

The Williams driver added: "I think energy management next year is going to be so important. I think the teams are going to really have to respect that.

"Be quite principled in how we go into the year because it's busy from testing, busy from such a short turnaround. Yes, it's going to be tough."
