After skipping the Barcelona tests,
Williams is finally ready to hit the track with the brand-new FW48, the car Sainz and the Thai-British driver will race in 2026, with expectations high following a strong and steadily improving 2025 season.
The Grove-based outfit’s team principal, James Vowles, also had his say on the launch of the new
Williams, striking a cautious tone and stressing that the team does not want to be “naïve” about the regulatory era that is about to begin.
“We have a great driver line up, some fantastic new partners, an ever-growing fanbase and want to build on the success we tasted last year, but we are not naïve about the challenge ahead of us.”
