Weather forecast for the Eifel GP: Will we finally get a wet race this year?

Before the Eifel Grand Prix, a wet race seemed almost a certainty, but now it seems to stay dry at the Nürburgring during the race, a stark contrast from the weather we saw on Friday.
There hasn't been a Formula 1 race at the Nürburgring for seven years, but when there was still an annual Grand Prix, it was mostly in the summer months. In the Eifel region it can get quite cold and wet in the autumn, which is not the most ideal conditions for Formula 1 racing.
That became very clear on Friday. Strong winds and downpours meant that the medical helicopters could not reach the hospital, so both free practice sessions had to be cancelled. It's likely however that we won't have to deal with that bad weather today, if we look at the weather forecast for this afternoon.

Almost no chance of rain

According to AccuWeather's weather forecast, the chance of a little rain at noon is still present at the Nürburgring, but the forecast for two and three o'clock is that it will be cloudy with a little sun. There is a 43 percent chance of some rain, but even that seems to be a small precipitation. However, it is quite cold, with only seven degrees Celsius on the thermometer.
