Formula 1 season gets underway in Australia. The first sessions, FP1 and FP2, will be held on Friday. It is expected to be a cloudy day with 22 degrees Celsius, according to
Weather.com. Winds of 10 to 15 kph are forecast with a 10 per cent chance of rain.
The weekend continues on Saturday with FP3 and then Qualifying. 20 degrees Celsius is predicted for the second day in Melbourne with a four per cent chance of rain. Winds will increase to 15 to 25 kph.

Sunday is expected be the hottest day of the weekend with 25 degrees Celsius, while the weather will remain partly cloudy similar to the past two days. There is a five per cent chance of rain, as winds are forecast to be from 10 to 15 kph.
Melbourne F1 boss provides update on Australian Grand Prix amid Middle East unrest
Australian Grand Prix CEO Travis Auld said he anticipates "no impact" on the 2026 season opener, despite the travel issues caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
