The opening two days of the weekend are likely to be dry, although Saturday night may have some rain with humidity up at 81%.
More rain may continue to fall throughout Sunday morning heading towards the start of the race at 3pm local time.
The showers may be intermittent in the afternoon with highs around 20C and a 40% chance of rain at Silverstone.
