Viscaal is looking for a new adventure: 'Also looking at other options'

Bent Viscaal is making progress in Formula 2. The Dutch driver conquered his first podium finish last Saturday at the Monza circuit by finishing second.

Formula 2 has eight instead of twelve race weekends this season. Viscaal has provisionally conquered 22 points in them, which puts him in fifteenth place in the world championship. His second place in Italy allowed the driver to immediately add twelve points.

The Formula 2 teams are also slowly looking towards next season. In principle, Viscaal wants to continue, although he also has some demands. " If I want to continue in this class for one more year, I have to be able to constantly fight for wins and actually the championship," he said in an interview with Motorsport.com. "We are looking at it, but we are also looking at other options."

Viscaal talks about the IndyCar Series in which the driver is interested. He would meet his compatriot Rinus van Kalmthout who is also racing in the American series. "I hope to be back in a race car again next year," Viscaal said.
