It's no public secret that Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher get along well. The German is in conversation with the official website of Formula 1 complimentary about the performance of the driver of Haas.
Expectations were high at the start of the season when Schumacher entered Formula 1. However, the rookie experienced a difficult season as the Haas car proved uncompetitive against its rivals. It ensured that the team was still without points at the end of the season.
Despite this, Vettel saw that Schumacher was also doing good things. "He’s been a huge lift for the entire team," Vettel stressed. "I think the offset from the start of the season for that team was poor because they had no development and they were far behind. But I think if you look throughout the year, Mick’s been very happy and enthusiastic."
