Verstappen's next teammate confident: Hadjar knows 'how to adapt'

After an impressive rookie season in which he achieved his first Formula 1 podium, Hadjar was promoted to Red Bull Racing from Racing Bulls to replace Yuki Tsunoda.

Looking ahead, Hadjar highlighted an advantage he has moving forward. He explained: "It’s not the same car at all next year. So that’s it. We're going to get the car we have. The team is going to build this car. I have to adapt to that car, and Max will have to do the same job.

Moreover, Hadjar never had the chance to get used to a single car throughout the past years, making him learn how to adapt more quickly.

He added: "I've never repeated, every year. I've always competed in different cars, so I don't know what it's like doing twice the same thing, the same job. So I think I'm pretty decent at adapting, so I'm actually confident."

Since the departure of Daniel Ricciardo, the Austrian team is yet to find a driver who could consistently stay close to Verstappen. It will be now the Frenchman's turn to take on this task.
