Max Verstappen says that he would not be against refuelling returning to Formula 1 if it would allow drivers to go flat out during races.
Refuelling has not been part of the sport for a decade now, and there have been calls in recent times to bring it back, to spice up the racing.
According to Crash.net, Verstappen said:“Yes, why not? I prefer to go flat out over saving tyres. In Austria we went flat out.
“It will differ over some races. I don't know whether F1 will improve when we reintroduce refuelling.”
Max's father Jos, was involved in a scary pit lane accident, when there was a problem with his fuel pump, leading to his entire car being engulfed in flames.
