Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton seemed to be fighting for the first place during the Italian Grand Prix, but nothing was further from the truth. Because both cars drove hard at each other, the drivers had to retire early.
Opinions on the incident were divided afterwards. While some people argued that Verstappen took a big risk and was therefore dangerous, others defended Verstappen by saying that there was a possibility to overtake Hamilton.
Marc Priesley is happy to watch the fight between Verstappen and Hamilton. "We all remain interested in such fights," he tells on his YouTube page. "During incidents like this, the stewards look at small mistakes made by the drivers. The person with the biggest share then gets the penalty. In this case that was Verstappen."

Safety of Hamilton and Verstappen

Verstappen's car crashed into Hamilton's, causing the British driver to argue that the FIA should take another look at driver safety. Priesley, however, takes a different view of the incident. "If we want to continue to see duels like this, then we certainly shouldn't just focus on safety."
