Max Verstappen set to test first in Barcelona, sharing duties with Perez on Sunday

Max Verstappen will be the first to test the new RB16B this Friday. The winter test in Bahrain starts on Friday and lasts until Sunday. The Dutchman will be in action on the first day and also on Sunday.

The Formula One season starts as usual with the winter test, but this year they are a little different than usual. With the season starting in Bahrain, the winter test will be held in Bahrain instead of Barcelona. Also, drivers and teams can only test for three days prior to the start of the season.

According to De Telegraaf Max Verstappen will be in action for Red Bull Racing on Friday. The Dutchman will be in charge of Friday, while Sergio Perez will be in charge of Saturday. On Sunday the drivers will divide the tasks, with the morning for Perez and the afternoon for Verstappen.
