Verstappen satisfied: 'P2 is a good result on a difficult day'

Max Verstappen had to make do with second place in Austria. Charles Leclerc was the fastest at the Red Bull Ring and takes his third win of the season. Verstappen says he was never able to really attack Leclerc.

"It was a tricky day. It seemed that we were struggling with the tyres and we did so on every compound. We had too much degradation to attack Charles, but second place is a good result on a tricky day like today," said Verstappen after the race.

Verstappen didn't mind the orange smoke and although he would have liked a win, he is happy with P2. "No it was good, a nice colour to drive through," says the Dutchman about the orange smoke. "It's great to see so many fans here in Austria and second is still a good result."
