Verstappen reveals intriguing 'new hobby' during summer break and shares footage

The Formula 1 summer break is in full swing, with drivers enjoying their time off in their own ways. Max Verstappen, in particular, appears completely at ease, as seen on his social media. The four-time world champion was pictured taking time to leisurely read a newspaper — in what can be dubbed a rare glimpse into the quieter side of the Dutch driver.
It’s not often we see Verstappen seated at a table, absorbed in the pages of a paper. However, he seems to be relishing the calm. It’s a welcome break for the Red Bull driver, who has endured a challenging season. Currently sitting third in the championship standings, Verstappen has already conceded that his hopes of securing another title are over.
With the factories closed during the summer shutdown, Formula 1 is momentarily on hold, allowing drivers to relax and recharge — just as Verstappen is pictured doing in his social media post.
