Verstappen reports Norris for start infringement: Stewards penalise the Briton!

Lando Norris lept from P6 to P6 during the start of the 2025 F1 Bahrain Grand Prix. However the Stewards are currently investigating the McLaren driver for a potential start infringement, which Max Verstappen reported.

Whilst on the grid waiting for the lights to go out and start the Bahrain Grand Prix, Verstappen reported Norris on the radio to the Red Bull pitwall: "Lando is over his gridbox."

During the second lap of the race the incident was noted by the Stewards, and on lap 8 the Stewards came to the conclusion that Norris had indeed parked his car out of position, earning the McLaren driver a 5 second penalty.
