Max Verstappen hopes to secure his first points of the season at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Where the Dutchman is still full of disappointment from the race in Bahrain, his father Jos Verstappen thinks his son will prove himself. He tells this to Viaplay.
Verstappen did not manage to overtake Leclerc in Bahrain, but seemed to be content with a second finishing position. However, his car stalled in the closing stages due to fuel supply problems. It left him empty-handed at the end of the weekend.
In Saudi Arabia, he hopes to still end up on the podium, in which his father has great confidence. "I think Max is more driven than ever," he explains in the interview. "Of course he doesn't like being behind his teammate, but things like that happen and the race is only today."

Verstappen starts sharp in Saudi Arabia

Verstappen started the race in Saudi Arabia from fourth position and managed to grab P3 at lightning speed. After a pit stop and crash by Nicholas Latifi, the Dutchman then managed to move into second position, again driving behind Leclerc.
