Max Verstappen remains as calm as ever in the very exciting final stages of the season. The Dutchman could potentially claim his first F1 title in Jeddah, but ahead of the race in Saudi Arabia, the Red Bull driver stressed that we just have to wait and see.

Verstappen relishes new circuits

With two races to go and a very small points difference with Lewis Hamilton, the denouement of the 2021 season is near. In Qatar Hamilton took a few points back from the Dutchman. Verstappen can look back on a successful weekend, making up for his grid penalty and getting the most out of it.
In the Red Bull press release the Dutchman also looked ahead to next week's race at the Jeddah Corniche circuit: "I’ve driven the track on the simulator and it seems like a really fast track, so there’s no room for error. Of course, there will always be a bit of guess work as we haven’t driven on the track there yet. It’s going to be interesting and I’m looking forward to the challenge. It’s been fun to go to different tracks again this year."
On the battle with Hamilton and the chance of winning his first title in Saudi Arabia, Verstappen is brief. The Dutchman is, as always, the cool one: "I'm feeling calm, I know that I will always try to do the best that I can, and we’ll just find out where we are going to end up. Nothing has been decided yet, and we are all up for the challenge, there’s still a lot of racing left to do, and we are going to give it our all that’s for sure."
