Max Verstappen is very dissatisfied with how the Hungarian Grand Prix went for him, to say the least. During the race, the three-time world champion complained a lot about the feeling in the car and the strategy, and in the end he also collided with Lewis Hamilton. The Dutchman immediately argued that the Briton was wrong and even after the race he stuck to that opinion.
According to Verstappen, Hamilton would have moved while braking. Earlier this season, there was a fuss about the Dutchman himself moving under braking when he had an incident with Lando Norris in Austria.

Verstappen compares Hamilton crash to crash in Austria

Verstappen therefore has a strong opinion about the incident: "I got a lot of s*** thrown at my head in Austria. People said I was moving while braking. I positioned my car in the first move and then I kept it straight [in Austria], but today I kept turning to the right under braking and that's why I stalled as well. I was obviously going for the overtake, but I see the car on the outside just kept coming at me. Otherwise we would have crashed before, but I had to stop the car and that's why I had to block."
In the end, Verstappen found himself battling Hamilton due to the team's strategic choices. When the three-time world champion was asked after the race if he thinks the team was too little concerned with covering Hamilton rather than the McLaren's, he replied, "I haven't spoken to them yet, so I have no idea why or how all these things happened."
