Red Bull Racing's RB21 is a kind of Jekyll and Hyde: one moment Max Verstappen can fight for victory in it, the next, the Austrian team's car struggles to overtake a Haas or Alpine. Timo Glock thinks that in Miami this coming weekend, it will be the latter.
In the season where Max Verstappen hopes to secure his fifth consecutive world title, the Dutchman has to deal with a particularly diva car. In Japan, he was able to win the Grand Prix, but in Bahrain - with all the slow turns - it was a struggle.

Glock sees potential in the Red Bull

Looking back on the first weeks of the season, Timo Glock also noticed that things weren't exactly smooth sailing for Red Bull. "There are moments when the car performs well, especially in Suzuka. The potential is there, but there are fundamentally many problems," says the former F1 driver in conversation with the German branch of Sky.
"The car seems to do well in [tracks with] many fast turns, but in Australia and Bahrain, the opposite was the case. You have to analyse it and hope for an update, after which Verstappen's future will become clear."

Headache for Verstappen in Miami

For this coming weekend, Glock expects significant challenges for Red Bull and Verstappen. "Red Bull will have a headache again, as it's a tight circuit with slow corners, just like Bahrain. Of the top teams, they will have the most problems. McLaren will be a step ahead of the rest again," predicts the German.
