Isack Hadjar revealed what he has found the most impressive about Max Verstappen since becoming the Dutchman's teammate.
After a stunning rookie season, Hadjar was promoted from Racing Bulls to Red Bull Racing, becoming Verstappen's teammate. The Frenchman has managed to stay closer to the four-time world champion in qualifying, but the gap has been more noticeable between the two in race conditions.
"Obviously, you come in and you’re aware of where you landed, so I definitely had a few doubts because it’s Max," Hadjar began.
"It’s undeniable, he’s great. There was a bit of doubt and pressure, but so far it’s been going pretty much like I wanted. It was definitely on my mind."
The youngster has been impressed with his season so far, but also highlighted that Verstappen has been particularly impressive on Sundays. His goal is to improve in that regard.

He continued: "I actually haven’t surprised myself this year, to be honest. I’ve just been driving at a high level, definitely better than last year. That’s normal because it’s my second season, so I’m not very experienced, but I’m improving a bit.
"I would say Max has been very impressive on Sundays, all around. I think my one-lap pace has been pretty good, but how well he is managing the races is on a different level, so that’s what I’m focusing on working on."

Verstappen switches things up: champion reveals special helmet for final Dutch GP

This time, Verstappen will not wear an orange helmet at the Dutch Grand Prix. The Dutchman said: "Let's do something special for the final one. Delftsblauwe, the color, it's used in pottery and also like little tiles they make.

"One of the race wins that I had, the trophy came with a little tile painted like this. It's something very like traditional, beautiful, so I was like well, I can easily make it orange all the time, let's do something special for the final one. I'm just looking forward to the whole weekend and hopefully everyone can enjoy it."
