Max Verstappen suffered a lot from his seat during the second free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver had to reverse into the pit box to have his seat adjusted. He was not happy about the situation on the team radio and swore at his team.
The second free practice during the race weekend in Austria didn’t get off to a great start for Verstappen. A few minutes into the session, Verstappen said over the radio: “Mate, I sit completely different in the car. What the f*** is this?” Gianpiero Lambiase, better known as GP, asked if he needed to come in to have his seat checked, to which the driver replied: “After this lap. I lay down a lot I don’t know what’s going on.”

Then it was Sergio Perez who came to a stop on the track due to issues. The Mexican triggered a virtual safety car. That gave Verstappen an extra reason to come in. “I need to box. My seat is completely wrong.” After saying that, Verstappen immediately made his way to the pit box. He jumped out of his car to have it checked.
It’s an important weekend for the RB22 and the Red Bull Racing team. The team has brought quite a few updates for the race in Spielberg. There’s a lot of talk about Verstappen’s future at Red Bull Racing. Team principal Laurent Mekies has said that Verstappen wants to stay, but only if the performance is good. So it’s important that the updates work well this weekend.
