Verstappen responds to Horner investigation: 'That's from the team'

During Red Bull Racing's car launch, people were surely curious to know if the key staff members would say anything about Christian Horner. Max Verstappen responded briefly to the investigation into his team boss.

The RB20 for the 2024 Formula 1 season was presented, but Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's new car was overshadowed by the investigation. Horner is still under investigation over alleged inappropriate behaviour. However, Red Bull were very clear: no questions about this investigation.

Yet during the Dutch media event with Verstappen, a question was asked about the subject. Why doesn't Verstappen want to say anything about it, or is it not allowed from the team? "No, from the team. Everything you are going to say about it can, of course, be interpreted in a certain way. Then it might be better not to say anything for a while," Verstappen stated to GPblog.com and others.

Christian Horner himself also reacted to all the news about the investigation. On the contrary, the Red Bull Racing team boss did feel supported by the team and parent company Red Bull. Horner said he did not and could not comment on the investigation.
