The Bahrain Grand Prix will not be on Max Verstappen's mind for a long time, he explained. According to the Dutchman, outlying results do not influence his mood.
The Sunday, similarly to the entire weekend, Max Verstappen had to deal with a challenging RB21 and a disappointing result. After starting from P7, he eventually crossed the finish line in sixth position.
Despite the outcome and the two McLarens finishing on the podium, Verstappen explained he does not need a 'reset'. "I'm OK. It is what it is," he told GPblog and others in the Bahrain paddock.
"I always try to do the best I can, even in disappointing or, let's say, frustrating situations. But you have to move on," he explained.

The Dutchman underlined the only thing they can do is focus on improving the RB21. "We keep discussing, keep trying to improve. We know that we have our problems."
"Even if you win a race, you know that doesn't go away. I said that already last week. I'm anyway not the guy that I think when you have positive or negative scenarios that you get influenced by, they just stay very neutral. So you just have to keep on working," the four-time world champion concluded.
