Max Verstappen's Austrian Grand Prix already ended by Turn 3, after he was hit by Kimi Antonelli. Now, the stewards have shared the young Italian has been summoned to the stewards.
On Lap 1, Antonelli locked up his rear tyres into Turn 3, that led to the Mercedes driver hitting Max Verstappen. After both cars stopped on the track, the Safety Car was also called out.
Over the team radio, the rookie already apologised for what happened. In the paddock, GPblog asked him what did he talk about with the Dutchman after the incident.
"Well I couldn't hear what he (Verstappen) said, but I apologised to him and I will try to talk to him after just to explain, and to apologise once more. Just because I feel very sorry towards my team, because it's a mistake from my side. But as well I ended his race and this [is] definitely not what I want," he explained.
