Max Verstappen will be battling Lewis Hamilton for the world title this season. While the Briton has plenty of experience of such a battle, for Verstappen it is the first time in his life that he is experiencing it.
The current leader in the world championship sees that he does differ from his teammate in more ways than one. Hamilton, for example, is known as a driver who is very socially involved by often making statements on social media or at the track.

Verstappen focuses on racing

Verstappen is different, he tells in conversation with La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Dutchman thinks it is especially important to stay focused on racing. "I personally will never become like that. Formula 1 is really not going to change me. I don't care how people see me: I always want to be able to look myself straight in the mirror", the driver says.
"I don't care if later on at the end of my career I have won seven, eight or nine titles. I don't want to continue until I'm forty. So the time in Formula 1 is short, so I want to be able to say later that I have done everything about it. Nothing more."
