Upcoming races in favour of Verstappen or Hamilton? "There's nothing between them"

For the first time in years, we will see a real battle for the world championship in Formula 1. We have to go even further back in time to find a title fight that went between two different constructors, but 2021 has it all.

During Formula 1 Café on Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport the analysts discuss how the odds are divided for the upcoming races. Are the circuits in favour of Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton?

"There is nothing in between, at every circuit they are evenly matched," is Robert Doornbos' verdict. "It's not like in the past, that Mercedes is half a second ahead every weekend."

Tom Coronel, however, has a comment on this. "I don't know if you saw Monza, but there Max was always four tenths short," he responds. "I also thought Hungary was 100% a Red Bull track, but then it was even, and Max didn't win it. Before that I did see that the Red Bull was stronger, but there is a clear difference between what is really a Red Bull track or a Mercedes track."
