Two races in Hungary: ''Liberty knows we're open to different options''

On Tuesday a new Formula 1 calendar suddenly appeared which Bild was able to publish by information obtained from the inside. However, one thing stood out. Not only Silverstone and the Red Bull Ring organize two races, but also the Hungaroring.

The talk of the day is of course the Formula 1 calendar. For a long time it remained silent around the possible calendar, but since Carey's statement several calendars have come to light, where Bild's one stood out the most. Motorsport-Total.com also went into discussion with the bosses in Hungary.

Should it really be the case that Hungary has to organise a Grand Prix twice, the question is whether they are ready for that. ''Every day we are in contact with the owners of Formula 1 and Liberty knows we are open for different options. We are ready to race'', says Zsolt Gyulay, the director of the Hungaroring.

''We have talked about a race without an audience and for that we are now working on a protocol in Austria. If that protocol is there, it should be possible to race. However, one thing is certain: It is very important for the government of Hungary and also for the Hungaroring itself to organise the Hungarian Grand Prix this year'', concludes Gyulay.
