Isack Hadjar will make his F1 debut next season for VCARB. After Liam Lawson was promoted to Red Bull Racing to replace Sergio Perez, the Frenchman was the next in line to join the Faenza-based team. Hadjar also chose his number for the '25 season.

Hadjar to compete with #6 in 2025

After finishing second in the F2 championship in 2024 and Red Bull making their decision about Sergio Perez, Hadjar could graduate to F1, driving for VCARB alongside the now experienced Yuki Tsunoda.
As a newcomer, Hadjar will have to choose his number in the competition. The Frenchman opted for the number '6', having driven with the number since he was younger. On Instagram, he also shared a picture of him in a gokart with the number 6.
It is not the first time number 6 has appears on the grid. After two years that a number was not used, it becomes available once again. Indeed, Keke Rosberg and Nico Rosberg also competed and won world titles respectively with this number. Nicholas Latifi also used number 6.
