Lando Norris made a joke about the unfortunate incident that happened to him after the British Grand Prix, following his first-ever victory on home soil.
In a weekend that saw him claim his first-ever Formula 1 victory in front of his home fans in England, the Silverstone Grand Prix ended with a minor mishap for Lando Norris — though fortunately without any serious consequences.
The British driver, while leaning over the barriers separating the track from the pit lane to enjoy the usual fan celebrations, was involved in an unpleasant incident when a photographer fell awkwardly from waist height right onto him.
The fall caused a fairly hard blow to the driver’s face, who touched his nose several times and showed some discomfort from the impact. The McLaren driver was then escorted away by some McLaren team members, unable to carry out his original plan.

However, instead of feeling sorry for himself, Norris chose to respond to the unfortunate incident with a smile and his usual sense of humour.
“Long story, but now I have two scars on my nose,” the Briton said when asked to explain what happened.
“One was lonely, so now I’ve got two. But it’s all part of the memories of Silverstone.”
For Norris, this is the second facial injury off the track in recent months. Last year, during celebrations for the Dutch King's Day, the McLaren driver also suffered facial wounds, with photos of him bandaged making rounds on social media.
