US television network CBS are developing a comedy series together with Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner. Deadline reports.

Steiner working on comedy series

Steiner has become a crowd favourite since his energetic appearances in the Netflix series Drive to Survive. His well-known one-liners have even been printed on T-shirts in a special Haas merchandise line.
Unfortunately for fans: Steiner will not be starring himself. However, the team boss is collaborating as an executive producer on the project, which is still in its early stages. A name is yet to be attached to the series, and who will write the screenplay is also not yet known.
However, it is known that a 'Steiner-like' boss will star and that the series is set in the world of sports, filmed with a single camera. The description is somewhat reminiscent of the popular series The Office, of which a creative internet user once already came up with an alternative version called 'The Scuderia', focusing on Ferrari.
