The new design of the Miami Grand Prix track!

The Miami Grand Prix, which looked to be added to the F1-calendar in 2019, looks to be in serious trouble now as a significant part of the track design will now have to be scrapped.
'Parcel B', as it's called, is the area that's currently causing trouble (the area with the circle around it in the picture below). The local community voted against a Grand Prix, which has now made it impossible for the track to run through the entire squared area at the north side of the circuit, according to The Miami Herald.
Instead, one of the straights will be made longer, simplifying the circuit quite significantly. It's now basically two straights with five corners thrown in between them.
This is what the track will now look like:

The trouble doesn't stop there, however. A large group of local residents has already made it clear to have hired an army of lawyers to make sure the negotiations between Liberty Media about a potential Grand Prix will be cancelled. The Miami Grand Prix is in serious danger!
