Lewis Hamilton's fans have taken to social media to vent their frustration over a rather costly replica put up for sale at Ferrari's online store. That Hamilton is a stand-alone brand in F1 is not up for discussion, as former Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner tated recently.
As such the Briton's fans did not hesitate twice as they flocked behind their F1 idol and discarded the Mercedes characteristic silver colours, for Ferrari's scarlet red.
F1 fans let Ferrari have it
However, when Ferrari posted up for sale a replica of Lewis Hamilton's race suit priced at £3400 (€3,920.20 approximately, ed.), fans took to X to express their displeasure at the cost.
Lewis Hamilton has always been at advocate for the accessibility and the affordability of F1 for the average fan. He highlighted the costly ticket prices to attend the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and also criticised the 2024 British Grand Prix for what he believed to be too highly priced tickets.
