After a few days of rest, this week brings the third and final pre-season test before the season’s first Grand Prix. Teams are now announcing which driver will be in action and when.
Red Bull Racing was the first team to indicate when their drivers will take part in the test.
Max Verstappen will in any case not be in action on the opening day. Isack Hadjar has the honor of opening the test for the Austrians.
The Haas team quickly followed with their line-up. The Americans will have Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman each drive on all three days in the new car.
This is how the test in Bahrain will run
From Wednesday through Friday there are three days on which teams may test their new generation
F1 cars. They previously did so in Barcelona and last week in Bahrain. Again, teams may field one car. That means the full-time drivers take turns running their laps.
Each test day is split into a morning and afternoon session. Some teams choose to run one driver in the morning and the other in the afternoon. In the schedule below, both names are then listed, with the first named driving in the morning and his teammate in the afternoon. It’s also possible for teams to run a single driver for the entire day.
