Szafnauer: Financial future at Force India to be clear "within a week"

Otmar Szafnauer has claimed Force India's financial situation will become clear in just a couple of weeks. Plenty has been said about the troubles at Force India recently. Even one of their own drivers, Sergio Perez described the situation as "critical".

He told reporters at the Hungarian Grand Prix: "Within a week or at the most two, our financial future will become more clear and I believe much more secure."

He gave nothing more away, but this afternoon it was uncovered that the team might be entering a pre-pack administration agreement.

Lawerence Stroll, father of Lance Stroll is seemingly the favourite to buy the team. When asked about this, Szafnauer continued to hide any information.
