Haas has had a hectic preseason. The American race stable said goodbye to Nikita Mazepin and sponsor Uralkali because of the Russian war in Ukraine. Guenther Steiner, however, is looking towards the new season with a positive outlook.
The Haas team boss acted lightning fast in recent weeks by contracting Kevin Magnussen and thus finding a new teammate for Mick Schumacher. With Magnussen, Steiner has a driver in house with the necessary experience in Formula 1. In the coming period, however, he will continue his search for new sponsors who can fill the financial gap that has been created.
"Of course, this separation leaves a big hole," Steiner told Speedweek.com. "Fortunately, there are interested parties who want to join us. I don't want to promise anything. We're making progress in winning new partners. I have every confidence in that. People understand that we are positioned very differently in 2022 than we were a year ago."

Haas hopes for better season

For Haas, it is to be hoped that the 2022 season will turn out well. After all, the formation abandoned the entire 2021 season to prepare for the new regulations. It still resulted in zero points in the constructors' championship last calendar year.
