Max Verstappen was back on track just days after becoming a father, a feat that made Sky Sports analyst Anthony Davidson admire the Dutchman.
Verstappen missed the Miami media day due to the arrival of his child with Kelly Piquet. However, he was in Miami for the action that Friday.

Davidson expresses admiration for Verstappen's mental strength

"It's fantastic. Whoever you are, it's such a special time," Davidson said at Sky Sports.
“The impressive thing for me is the compartilisation he is about to embark on here."

Verstappen was able to clinch pole position during the feature races qualifying session, thus putting a stop around the talk that he would be slower as a father.
