Competition for Kelly: 'It's become more romantic between Max and me'

During the season, Formula 1 drivers talk to the media many times. Usually they are serious interviews, covering all kinds of topics. This week, Red Bull Racing gave fans the chance to ask questions to Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for once. Via TikTok, they answered the funniest questions.

So we now know from Perez what he likes most about Formula 1: "Driving the car." The Mexican also revealed what language he thinks in during Grands Prix: "Definitely in English."

A real "revelation" Perez had about his relationship with Verstappen. In the past, there has been some speculation in the media that relations between the two drivers would be fragile. Such assumptions were fuelled, for example, after the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix, when Verstappen would not let his teammate pass him in the race's closing stages.

One of the participants in the question session wanted to know once and for all what the relationship between Verstappen and Perez is currently like. The exact question was how their relationship has evolved since the first moment they got to know each other. Perez replied in jest: "It's got a lot more romantic!"
