Sebastian Vettel believes that the reason that Mercedes are faster than Ferrari is due to speed in the corners. The four-time world champion has said that overall he is happy with his car but admits that the Silver Arrows remain the faster team.
“Engine-wise we are happy, obviously it’s Friday so it’s difficult to know what we are doing compared to other people," Vettel said to Crash.net.
“Overall, happy. Car-wise we put everything on the car that we expected to put on the car but feeling-wise it has been a different story and I think it’s a fair picture that we haven’t been the quickest today.”
“It’s not the first time this year that we are losing in these sort of corners,” he explained.
“If it was easy we would just fix it but currently we are all working very hard and trying still to just understand why we are losing out in these types of corners, sometimes more than other times.”

Ferrari will hope that the updates that they have brought in for the Spanish Grand Prix make them faster through the corners and that they can start to rival Mercedes.
