The Japanese driver got behind the wheel of the RB7 — the car that carried Sebastian Vettel to his second world title in 2011, just 24 hours after the second pre-season test in Bahrain had come to an end.
"I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of an Fl car and to do that in RB7 in San Francisco will be amazing," Tsunoda said last week.
"I'm really looking forward to getting out there, doing some donuts and making some real F1 noise in front of the crowds." Midway through the showrun, the rear of the RB7 suddenly caught fire, with the flames quickly spreading as the crowd urged Tsunoda to get out of the car as soon as possible, which he did without any issues.

Spectators in attendance nevertheless showed strong support for the Japanese driver, repeatedly chanting his name even after the fire.
Tsunoda was joined by several other known names during the showrun. Ford Racing Off-Road star Mitch Guthrie Jr. showcased the Dakar Rally-winning Ford Raptor T1+.
Former
Formula 1 driver Scott Speed took to Marina Boulevard in a Visa Cash App Racing Bulls car, while freestyle motocross legend Aaron Colton was also part of the event’s line-up.
Things did not go much better for Speed, who, while performing donuts in front of the crowd, ended up clipping the barriers and damaging the front wing.
