George Russell was noted for a start incident at the Monaco Grand Prix, although the stewards decided no further investigation was necessary. The Briton is currently running fifth and will be looking to gain positions to limit the points lost to Kimi Antonelli.
Russell was noted for starting from out of position in Monte Carlo by the stewards. Lando Norris, who lined up just behind the fellow British driver, reported the Mercedes driver over his team radio as well. However, the incident did not lead to further investigation. Russell then got up to fifth place after Max Verstappen's horrific start.

Perez penalized in Monaco

On the other hand, Sergio Perez did receive a drive-through penalty. After Gabriel Bortoleto had to start from the pit lane, the Mexican driver lined up in the Audi car's position on the grid. Follow the session with GPblog's liveblog here!
