Rosberg on Vettel

Former world champion Nico Rosberg believes that Ferarri can be competitive next season.

He told the Bild am Sonntag newspaper that "Basically, Ferrari just need to continue in 2019."

"They managed to build a brilliant car. On that basis I trust that they will come back very well after the winter break."

Rosberg believes that part of the reason that Vettel was unable to do more this season was because "they made too many so many strategy mistakes."

The German former champion went on to talk about the potential team dynamic with Charles Leclerc joining the team.

"The dynamics will be exciting"

"Charles is a phenominally talented youngster who arrives at a stage where Sebastian is building back up. That's a potential source of trouble."

It will be interesting to see how the team handle the drivers. Hopefully there will be some quality wheel to wheel action for us all to watch!
