Vettel compares Abu Dhabi race to his season

Vettel's race in Abu Dhabi sums up the season he has had. Stuck behind Lewis Hamilton with nothing he can do about it.

The Ferrari drivers believes that "the race sums up the year pretty well. A few ups and downs and in the end being close but not close enough."

The German driver has said that he needs some time to recover before returning next season.

"I really tried to hang on as long as I could."

Next season Vettel will have young driver Charles Leclerc as a team-mate. It will be fascinating to see the competition between the two racers. Vettel will need to extablish himself as the number one driver or we could see something similar to what happened with Alonso and Hamilton at McLaren.
