Renault F1 team has made it clear that its preparations for the Hungarian Grand Prix ‘have not been affected’ by the accident earlier in the week with one of its trucks.
On Monday pictures emerged of a Renault Sport truck having crashed off the side of a motorway.
The team later confirmed that their truck had been in an accident on the M1 in Hungary but that the driver has sustained no serious injuries and that no other vehicles were involved.

Renault provided an update Thursday, stating that the drivers has been released from hospital and that the goods inside the truck weren’t damaged.
Their statement on Twitter read: “The driver of the Renault F1 Team truck involved in a road traffic accident in Hungary on Monday continues to make good progress and has returned home.
“The goods being transported were not damaged and the team’s preparations for the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend have not been affected. We look forward to getting the weekend underway.”
