Red Bull Racing: "We are two weeks ahead of our schedule"

Red Bull Racing's Helmut Marko has announced to ServusTV that his team are two weeks ahead of schedule in terms of their preparations for the Formula 1 2020 season. Things are looking positive and they are on course to be able to challenge for the championship next season.

“We have learned from that year and we no longer have any excuses for the coming year. Our Honda power source is top notch, Max is also top notch and now we have to ensure a good chassis,” Marko said.

2019 has been a solid season for Red Bull and their relationship with Honda has gone from strength to strength.

Max Verstappen is hopeful that 2020 will be his year to win a world championship.

“Of course I want to win more races in a season. We hope that we will participate from the beginning of the season next year and have a chance to go for the world title,” he said.

Red Bull needs to show that they are competitive if they are to keep Verstappen happy and they will look to end Mercedes dominance in 2020.
