Ferrari made a good start to the winter test in Barcelona, but the Italian team may well lose a lot of ground in Bahrain. Indeed, unlike Mercedes and Red Bull Racing, Ferrari is not coming with any major updates.
Ferrari has made an excellent start to the 2022 Formula 1 season. The Italian racing team was the only team to complete more than 400 laps, making a big impression. The F1-75 is reliable, but also fast. The team was identified as one of the favorites for this season after the first week of testing, but that picture could easily change in Bahrain.

No updates for Ferrari

Motorsport.com reports that Red Bull Racing and Mercedes will come with major updates in Bahrain. The two teams didn't want to show too much to the competition yet in Barcelona, but will throw most of their cards on the table when testing takes place in Bahrain. After all, a week later the parts have to work for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
On that front, Ferrari may well be losing ground, because where the Italian formation came out strong in Barcelona, it has no updates planned for Bahrain. According to Mattia Binotto the team will mainly try to get the current car running even better. Helmut Marko also announced earlier that Red Bull is 'just' ahead of Ferrari, but that the Austrian team was less fast in Barcelona due to the extra amount of fuel.
